Rural Trading would like to thank all its customers for the fantastic support we have received from you in our first 5 weeks on the road. With your encouragement and help we have grown from scratch to a working round of 22 villages and a waiting list.
In our first month we have been warmly welcomed by Pub Landladies/Landlords, Parish Councils, Editors of Newsletters, The W.I. Autumn Clubs, Village Hall Committees, Church Wardens and Village Residents offering advice and help on reaching the elderly and parking.
We’ve been brought cups of tea in the snow, helped when our tyres punctured in Hallaton, provided with toilet stops in many villages and encouraged every step of the way whilst solving any teething problems.
You have also helped us put together this new timetable and everyone now gets more visits at more suitable times. One major change is we will be closing Mondays until May as the round has grown so rapidly we will struggle to sustain it at this pace with our current staff levels. We will review this in March.
